Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in the French city of Puy-de Domme on August 9, 1976. She is the oldest of four children. She was encouraged by dentist parents as well as a teacher who were both teachers in the pursuit of her desire in the theatre. This was in contrast with her previous desire to become a primate scientist because she was fascinated by monkeys. As a young woman, her rise to stardom was rapid and marked with the beginning of her success. In 1998 after her studies, she participated in the French television show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers that was sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors before launching her acting career fully. While she attended The Institut Catholique de Paris and had a religious affiliation in her early years, Tautou has since distanced herself from her religious upbringing and has stated that she's not Catholic. As well as her acting profession she was also pursuing a modeling career. It is her turn to be the spokesperson for L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and is often referred to as The Chanel Muse. In addition to her acting work she is also interested in photography. The actress recently showed some of her photographs at Arles Film Festival. Arles Film Festival with the title Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrities, fame and the public that scrutinised her since her rise to fame in Amelie. There are also numerous photographs of her self. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and recognition with her movie role in Le Fabuleux Destin by Amelie Poulain. Amelie is a international box office success and was recognized by numerous ceremony awards around the world. Amelie is the most successful french-language film to hit the US. After this film's success, Tautou appeared in numerous films ranging from British films like Stephen Knight's Dirty Pretty Things to Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles, and then he moved into Hollywood by directing Ron Howard of the Dan Brown bestseller The Da Vinci Code together with Tom Hanks.
