Melina Kanakaredes

Melina Kanakaredes, an American actress popular for her portrayal of Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence as well as the role of Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident. The actress also won acclaim for her breakthrough television debut role of Eleni Andros Cooper in the CBS soap show Guiding Light. The most memorable film roles she has played are 15 Minutes Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief and Snitch. The Wheel of Life, written by Elisabeth Kubler Ross and adapted into a film with Vlas Parlapanides (the pair who created the Immortals) is thought to be in development. Also, she's filming a new television series called Gods & Heroes.
